The convention started with a cocktail party on Friday night to get to know everyone, it was great fun.

Bruce Hopkins, Sarah McLeod, John Noble, Craig Parker, David Weatherly & Ben Wootten, made themselves available to everyone for a chat.

They were very approachable and interested, especially in the bar later that night I believe. (Not to mention the following nights)

Colleen Doran - Fantastic Artist, gave a great description of Craig in her review of the Oscar Party - I quote, 'First of all, he must be one heck of an actor because he is nothing like the parts I have seen him play. He looks quite different too, especially from the character, Haldir. Craig is slender, dark and very handsome. As Haldir, he looks seven feet tall and broad, but the real Craig is a very compact guy. He is also incredibly natural and easy to talk to.'

This is the best description of Craig Parker I have read, it totally captures him.

To further quote Colleen, in her, "A Distant Soil" # 36, Craig has a "wit so sharp it could split atoms". I love that.

Anyone that goes to see him at these conventions soon find this to be true.

To sum it all up; for me, Craig Parker has this incredible Jimmy Stewart quality. Even though he can say some naughty things, I found him to be a complete gentleman, very approachable, very hands on in his approach to anybody who might want to speak to him, and that makes him a winner and keeper.

I would have to say The Best of Both Worlds Conventions are the ones you want to go to, they are very good structurally for the person who needs a plan, but laid back enough that everyone and everything is flexible so that convention goers are never disappointed because they might miss out on something. Autographs, Photos etc. I will be making this convention my once a year date.

Kindest Regards & Bless you all Heaps
