Elvish

According to Tolkien's appendix, the Elves of Lothlorien spoke the Elvish language Sindarin. To learn more about the language and to download a Sindarin dictionary, check out the Sindarin Dictionary Project.

Here are some more sites to learn Sindarin:

In the Peter Jackson film, the lament the Lothlorien Elves sing for Gandalf is in both Sindarin and Quenya. There are several great sites on the web to learn the language. This one is by far the best: Quenya Course. The site features a dowloadable course, complete with exercises and dictionary.

Learning Elvish Among Friends (L.E.A.F.) is another great site to learn Quenya. It's an online community complete with a message board so you can get to know others that are studying along with you.

Archery

Tolkien's Elves were skilled with a bow and arrow. Most likely they used one in the style of the English Longbow.

Here is a great site to have a bow custom made: Woodbows

More links to come when I find some good ones that don't involve hunting.
