Haldir of Lorien
"Welcome! We in Lothlorien seldom use any tongue but our own; for we dwell now in the heart of the forest, and do not willingly have dealings with other folk. Even our own kindred in the North are sundered from us. But there are some of us still who go abroad for the gathering of news and the watching of our enemies, and they speak the languages of other lands. I am one. Haldir is my name."
The screen time for Haldir in the theatrical version of Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring
is quite short. There is considerably more footage in the extended DVD & VHS
release. Haldir also plays a part in
the sequel The Two Towers.
You can view lots of images from the movies in the galleries for Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers. Check out the merchandise section for information on buying the movies and other Lord of the Rings memorabilia, including some Haldir stuff!
